HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?
Sessions are 45 to 50 minutes each. Upon request, sessions can be held for longer at an additional cost and for specific client needs.
WHAT MODALITIES DO YOU USE MOST?
I use an eclectic approach of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivation Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to give each client an individually tailored therapy experience.
DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE RATES?
I accept insurance plans through ALMA. Please click the button below to request a consultation through them.
If you do not have one of their accepted plans, using out-of-network benefits can often provide clients with the majority of their therapy costs through their insurance providers, and may even be less expensive than copays.
If you have no insurance, please know that I offer a sliding scale fee schedule.
With that being said, therapy is an investment of both time and money to receive expert support for life's transitions.
If anyone is facing financial hardship, they can address with their therapist individually.
IS MY INFORMATION KEPT CONFIDENTIAL?
I use a HIPAA compliant platform for all notes to protect confidentiality. Only if there is a medical or psychiatric emergency where the client or someone else may be harmed could that information ever be shared.
Not accepting commercial insurance is another way we protect the confidentiality and privacy of clients.
