HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?

Sessions are 50-55 minutes each. Upon request, sessions can be held for longer at an additional cost and for specific client needs or shorter if approved in advance with clinician. 

WHAT MODALITIES DO YOU USE MOST?

We use CBT, DBT, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Positive Psychology, Somatic Therapies, and Trauma-Informed Methodologies to address a spectrum of psychological, social, emotional, and spiritual needs. Care is collaborative and incorporates the needs and values of the client each step of the way. 

DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE RATES?

We accept many major insurance plans. 
If you do not have one of their accepted plans, using out-of-network benefits can often provide clients with the majority of their therapy costs through their insurance providers, and may even be less expensive than copays.
If you have no insurance, please know that we offer a sliding scale fee schedule. 
With that being said, therapy is an investment of both time and money to receive expert support for life's transitions. 
If anyone is facing financial hardship, they can address with their therapist individually.

IS MY INFORMATION KEPT CONFIDENTIAL?

We use a HIPAA compliant platform for all notes to protect confidentiality. Only if there is a medical or psychiatric emergency where the client or someone else may be harmed could that information ever be shared. 
Not accepting commercial insurance is another way we protect the confidentiality and privacy of clients.
